Not sure why we are complaining about adding another big man when our lack of depth in the frontcourt was one of the biggest weaknesses this year.

I mean he’s fine, but he doesn’t have great size so he can’t play the 5 to spell Okpara. I’m sure he’s just a depth piece, but we dont have any proven post scorers, a guy you can just toss down into the post and get a bucket. I’m not really sure he’s that guy, but I guess we’ll see.

I know people will point to his two big games against us, but those were more of the exceptions not the rule.

Yeah that's definitely crazy. He averaged 8 points a game and didn't start for a fringe tournament team. He's a scrappy bench guy who happened to have two good games against us and didn't do a whole lot the rest of the year.

He was just a true sophomore. You would expect further improvement. 10 and 7 is very good bench production. While Carey isn’t a stretch 4, Milicic only gave us 9+ and 7.

In my personal opinion, as long as Duke's "shadow collective" is funneling NIL money through private investment, it's gonna be very hard to beat them for HS recruits that they really, really want.

I’ve barely posted in this thread. I haven’t commented on a single player other than Carey, so I’m not sure you can categorize it as a wet blanket routine. It’s one guy.

Would add a lot of things Tennessee doesn't have. Post-up efficiency, rebounding (especially offensive), and ASSERTIVE physicality. Also plays with a fire and energy that will be nice to add losing some of the guys this team is
