Spend most of the night in our safe room. It got really rough!! We had a couple up the road in Obion county get thrown off the road in their truck, unfortunately the man was killed.

We were in shelter for much of last night here in NE AR. Tornado did a lot of damage in nearby towns. It was headed straight toward us and lifted up about a quarter of a mile away and literally jumped us.

I was absolutely convinced it rained here and was expecting to see a Bradford Pear split in about 4 pieces in my backyard. Really, really surprised that there were no signs of rain at all. Glad no one here was effected, wish I could say the same for everyone. How far east did the storms come?

Nows a good time to prune your bradford pear. Using a chainsaw, make a horizontal cut at ground level and pour concentrated glyphosate on the stump.
