There is a reason there are no reports of us contacting this guy. You never know but he is not a Kiffin or Chaney type of QB.

we just need a damn QB so we can recruit some O players so maybe we could later pull brunnetti or rettig away later this season.....

No PQB has more long-term potential than Bray. He can see over any offensive lineman and has the patience and vision to survey the whole field. He does need to fill out, and improve the quickness of his feet in order to get passes off against strong pass-rushing defenses. Right now he will have to rely on his ability to read defenses and use his quick release to move the ball down field. I say this without malice, but I will be surprised if bigger BCS schools don't come knocking on his door making him think twice about his commitment to San Diego State. Bray could be the next Matt Ryan, just taller.

Tyler Bray - Bray took the Yellow Jersey as the day's leader once the passing was complete with a strong showing in the accuracy competition as well as every other aspect of his game.

Bray is a little mechanical in his drop backs appearing a little stiff at times. He has a good release keeping the ball high throughout his entire motion, and he gets excellent zip on the ball with accuracy. His motion is a little longer when comparing him side by side with a quarterback like Blake Bell, but it's not too long by any stretch.

Bray's the longest and leanest of the Elite 11 participants, and with his frame, he may be the player whose name is called first of this bunch come NFL draft day. Upside is a word that will be thrown around a lot this week and through Bray's career.

Per Scout... Wow, this is some high praise for a guy that is committed to SDSU. This was written after day 2 at the Elite 11. From what I gather, he was right there with Heaps, Sims, and Bell as the most impressive player at the camp and won the accuracy award twice...

since we're talking measurables, it appears that grayson's vertical is 17" higher than bray's??? i guess in the grand scheme that doesn't matter too much, but it is noted....

The only way i think we go after Bray is if we get a JUCO. He is far from being ready to play, we need someone ready now. Cam Newton, COME ON DOWN!

Jake Heaps is the only player in this class who may be ready to play as a freshmen. This has always been the problem...

Rivals has 2 vids of him up. Looks very impressive to me. His throwing motion looks alot better than Grayson's. Really no comparison. He doesn't look as slow as his 40 time indicates either...

I just watched the free one lol....I agree. Thats the first thing i noticed, he is faster then his 40 stats. Putting on weight should be very easy for him, I wouldnt be surprised if he gained 10 lbs before the season started. I like him more then Grayson too. He is also a rising prospect, so why not? I wish i could get some game film so i could eval him somemore..

At this point in time....Kiff would be stupid to not take an Elite 11 QB in Bray. WR's/OL's look at who attended that and Bray on his elite 11 status alone could attract some offensive talent.

Here is what they had to say about him....
Bray is one of Central California's top prospects and he's got a nice, smooth release and good zip on his throws. Sees the field well and has good accuracy and does a great job of going through his progressions. A good athlete. I agree Hens. There is no way around it. He outperformed Hinder, Montana, Brunetti, and even our savior Scroggins. He probably outdid Bell and Sims as well. The only one on par with Bray was Heaps...

And if it makes any difference, in the new Rivals rankings, Bray jumped from a 0star to a 4star and the #14 PS-QB in the nation. That Rettig guy only jumped from a 0star to a 3star and the #29 PS-QB in the nation. Just saying...
