Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I used to drink my wife's breast milk. I swear to you guys that stuff is good for you. The colostrum from it really helped with joint pain. Plus it was good with protein shakes. I would drink about a gallon every two weeks.
I miss the person I was before reading that…

Can you imagine being a Texas A&M fan right now?

- The Jimbo "homerun hire" was a total failure.
- Your baseball coach bolts for your bitter rival Texas after taking you to the CWS finals.
- You think, "We're gonna be alright, we are preseason #1 regardless!" and it turns out your team is garbage.
- Your basketball team gets out of the cellar in the toughest conference of the year and becomes a dominant team, even upsetting #1, and your coach leaves for *checks notes* Maryland?

And to top it all off you have yell leaders and cultish chants.

I will never ever take my children to a TN football game, ever. Not ever. Unless my friend can get the cat bird tix. Away from the General tick holders.

Me and my kids have made amazing memories at Neyland. They love walking in the crowds pregame, to cheering their butts off during games. Light shows at night. Seeing the team run through the T. To cheering “It’s great to be a Tennessee vol” as we’re walking out of the stadium.

We drive four hours from Fort Mill Sc to the stadium and they never complain because we all genuinely love the experience.

I get the convenience of watching from home, but on my deathbed, I’ll remember rushing the field with them after both Alabama wins as well as spooky neyland as well as many other memories we’ve shared at that stadium.

Happy Wednesday

April 2, 2025: You are entering unfamiliar territory, and you will feel a bit lost at first, but know that where you are going is higher and more meaningful to your spiritual growth. You must maintain your sense of balance as you progress so that your transition is well ordered. This is nothing to be afraid of. Move ahead in faith and assurance that I am with you, says the Lord. Psalm 56:3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

how old are they? a lot of that comes down to the kid's personality.

I was in Connecticut of all the places, when that happened. Had to give up tix to the game for Corporate training. Ugh.
