He’s got a point really. Really feel like they only won some of those games because opposing teams get caught up in mentals too much. Like Kentucky had no business losing that game. Texas should have hosed them in the SECCG. We just refused to make any simple adjustments

But the only reason this “accomplishments” exist is the way the media sells you on the sport. “THE ROAD TO OMAHA” “THE ROAD TO THE FINAL 4”. “THE ROAD TO THE CFP”. Its just marketing at the end of the day.

I don’t think that’s accurate… The big accomplishment for the SEC use to be the Sugar bowl. There is no road to the Sugar Bowl. The College World Series was considered a huge deal well before the media or fans cared about College Baseball.

at the end of the day it’s still something someone started and told you what point to reach in the season was deemed a success. I’m just saying that could drastically vary from team to team.

Simple math would say no. Seems like it would be the same as making the elite 8. The difference is basketball has a FINAL FOUR at a dedicated location each year and baseball has a World Series which includes 8 teams every year. That’s what makes each special but not the same.
