I think Houston hasn't played anyone.I said it a few weeks ago. There's a well defined line between the Top 6 teams in the country and a handful of teams after.
Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Duke, and Houston are separated. Michigan State was one of those teams on the fringe with St. John's.
Its pretty wild that this year there were no hiccups with that top tier of teams. St. John's was the only one that hit a speed bump, but there was a reason they weren't ranked highly most of the season. They benefitted from a light Big East.
Yes. Pressure went up another notch last 3 minutes, we faded. Turnovers. Ruby Whitehorn has been great for us, and she was really good today; but, she killed us the last 2 minutes or so. There were others, but...three straight turnovers, nail in coffin. She seemed to wilt whenever the lights got brighter. She's been very good, though, so I'm not down on her, or any of them. Proud of em!
Those moments are made for the big-time player to shine. They pray for those moments, to be able to take it to an even higher level. Hopefully those types of ladies are about to step foot on campus. I think so.
Great season, girls!
Go Lady Vols!
They've got a solid resume.I think Houston hasn't played anyone.
