I know some of you frown upon my end of the state in Shelby County. But we have roughly 10,000 alumni. I can’t go anywhere these days without someone talking about UT sports. Our department is on another level now. Two of my kids had different sports this morning, and I had multiple conversations about the game last night and others who gave the “Go Vols.” Fun times.

Folks in west TN have taken notice. Whether or not they’re fans, they see that UT athletics as a whole has had a resurgence.

Well we are running Chip Kelly’s Oregon system in the sense that we minimizing talent discrepancies. It will be interesting to see if her system changes over time.
