I like this. And as much as I love watching the games, I finally figured out the vols winning or losing has nothing to do with me watching the games.

Of course, it's just a game, but it's a game with some emotional investment involved, if you've been closely following the team for the last 4 months.

The "it's just a game" line has never made me feel better about a season ending defeat.

A lot of our offense runs through Chas. Again, we will see early if he is hot or cold tonight. If he comes out hot, then I really like our odds. Both times we lost to UK this year we shot inconsistently. We need 60 mins 40 mins of offense.

The refs need to let them play. If we get a quick whistle tonight, we will be in trouble unless we have Chaz, Z, and Igor get hot at the same time with Gainey also filling it up. I hate the matchup and was really pulling for UK to get upset earlier. If they call it against us like they did with ILLINOIS, we will have a tough time but not impossible. It’s hard for any team to beat a good team 3 times in a season and this is a great team. Vols should win with a fair whistle that lets both teams play.

If we lose, you can look back at what a fun and great season we had. Enjoy those memories and happy for the accomplishments. We are an elite team for the last few years as the notes at the beginning attest to. Better than we’ve ever been. I think this team as well as Florida and Bama can beat the other non SEC teams in this tournament. Wish we didn’t have to play another SEC team but someone had to as there are so many in it.

And that’s on you. The sun will rise again tomorrow. I’m 41 years old and have followed the Vols since I was old enough to understand in all 3 big sports. I’ll be upset but I won’t hang on to it.

Logic checks out.
They tend to give Chaz all kinds of fits, particularly from 3, but that hard screen elbow action is a good wrinkle I expect to see early and often. That and no way KY can shoot 50% from 3 again, right???

We can only hope not. I heard a stat the other day that over the last 2 years we have only allowed 50%+ from 3 in 3 games. We played UK in all 3 games.

That’s my thinking for tonight. I don’t see us changing our schemes with help defense. KY will get good looks from three of TN continues to “switch” on D.

I’d try to stay straight man and if you get beat, then give up the two.

They've had Chaz' number (and held ZZ pretty much) Need both of those
guys to execute tonight in order to advance.

I expect 24-4-4 from Chaz
I expect 16-4-8-4 from ZZ

Is Milicic coming to the game tonight? (BF)
