Trump Ignores the Courts

There was several handfuls of people working on construction jobs in a 2 mile radius of my house. It's both obvious and sad how those jobs have seemingly come to a halt. These people working construction wanted to make the USA their home, because that's exactly why we were established. They had a better life here. These people looked excited after getting their daily cash pay buying the ingredients to the delicious supper they were going to make. None of these individuals were here, breaking the law other than being here without any thing other than maybe an expired green card

Got to play by the rules. Just because the rules haven’t been properly enforced for years doesn’t mean they get a pass. Go about immigration using the proper steps and amazingly the risk of deportation plummets.

Why do you like big government?

Nothing I said is advocating big government.

Lmfao “there’s no construction workers in my home town now that Trump is in charge”

No one believes any of what you claimed. And your notion that these people all came here legally and just have an expired green card is absolutely comical

So a district judge can make any silly rulling he wants; but only the Supreme Court has the authority to block a co-equal branch
No disagreement there. It seems that some believe that the orders can be ignored until it's ruled upon by the SCOTUS, which isn't the case.

lol this is one of most patronizing posts to illegals I've ever read

These judges are becoming more corrupt and incompetent as basketball officials and need to start being held accountable.

Bruh, lets not pretend that every single federally appointed judge wasn't appointed for a reason. Both sides. SCOTUS seats included.

Stop with the "OOh nO aCtAVisT JuDGez" pearl clutching, you only think they're corrupt "activists" when they don't rule the way YOU want them to.

They're all partisan, all of them.

Most are for sure. Guess we’ll see how it plays out.

Dangerous territory to openly defy a federal judges order.

Put this shoe on the other foot and see if you still like the way it fits.
It depends on what that order is. If, for example, a federal judge orders that the 25th ID cannot be deployed because war hasn't officially been declared by congress then the president at the time can just tell the judge to sit on it and spin, tough sh!t.

?

The order that was defied is known, legitimate and injunctive.

So maybe you should get after your congressional representatives to solve the problem instead of ignoring it and allowing criminals to rampant and the flow of people over the border to go unchecked.
Just closing the border is no solution either but given the 2 options, neither of which address the actual problem, most citizens are going to side with closing the border and throwing out the criminals

I’m in construction.
By my contracts I can’t use illegals. All my subs…..legally here….are on edge and worried. And it’s extremely difficult to find qualified subs. I know guys here illegally who would do a great job and would love to be here legally but it’s a near impossible task to get through our immigration system.
The system needs to be fixed.

Why are the legal ones worried? Relatives that are illegal?

Because their status is very fragile.
They can easily be pulled from work and deported by some prick that’s having a bad day.
I’ve told everyone to leave in the event that the pricks show up and let me deal with it
Edit: I’m sure friends and family are a factor too

Has it been reported that people with a legal status have been deported?

„Ignored“ is not the correct word here. „Resourceful compliance“ however is a time honored strategy. Or in layman’s terms, „loopholes“. Make the judge be very precise and delay when he misses a step (such as having his written order not match his verbal one)

Are you not familiar with how our government operates?
Absolutely, not defending government. I'm not defending deportation of legal immigrants. I've said multiple times the system is broken. We rely on their hard work in multiple areas of our economy. Work that most lazy ass Americans refuse to do. My question was, have there been incidents where legal immigrants have been deported?
