2025 Transfer Portal Thread

Well that's not good.
That’s where it’s been for a bit, they’re trying to make the timing such that it doesn’t apply to current seniors but starts in time for next years senior class starting with football. That’s why I’ve said the question then becomes do any players hold off on starting their professional overseas careers and stick around until that happens and then sue the NCAA that you should be able to utilize that new rule.

That’s obviously 1. Asking a lot of said player(s) and 2. Not anything you can bank on and need to build your roster with the assumption it won’t happen

16 and 4 vs Kansas
7 and 8 vs Missouri
23 and 10 vs Cincinnati

19.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 40.4% 3-pt shooter on 99 attempts

Great size at 6-5, 210 lbs and MEAC POY as a freshman.

I'd guess he'll be one of the most sought after players in the portal.
From DC, would thinking Georgetown is in play.

What is wrong with these people? Why wait and create confusion. Do it in April and grandfather in the current group of players. This way coaches and players know where they stand and can decide what they want to do.

I think it's possible that Money might not be able to transfer due to him taking care of his younger siblings.

Closer to the 6’7-6’8 range now. Late growth spurt led to “late-bloomer status”

Seems like the teams remaining are really putting an emphasis on positional size again, and this guy gives you that on the wing with ability to play “semi-small ball” at the 4.

I think with all we’ll have to spend on the open spots he may be too expensive, but really like his game - maybe Barnes sticks around and can pitch the Durant plus Knecht/Lanier transfer success angle.

Mackenzie Mgbako entered the portal. Wonder if he’s someone we would be interested in?
