That’s a pretty big “if” but as a party where power trumps principle, I wouldn’t rule it out. Their bench is pretty thin.

The Democrats should have run someone like Bill Clinton instead of Kamala / Walz. Someone with Bill Clinton’s politics would never win the nomination today.

Losing people in droves impacting their congressional seats is why they’ve been working feverishly to import illegals into California (and other “sanctuary” states).

The illegals still count for congressional apportionment, so they indirectly impact the weight of California & New York in presidential elections.
