Milwaukee is to be commended. They are what we (Cincinnati) strive to become, however that's a modest goal compared to the Dodgers. The Brewers have won one playoff series (not World Series) in the past 40 years. One
Well I hope they decide to use a salary cap eventually in baseball. It wont be a $100 million though has to be a compromise between Owners and when it's set at around $200 million the rule should State you have to use every dime allotted on Salary cap and then watch the small market Owners cry more than they do now.

There needs to be a cap and a floor. I'm guessing the floor would be about $140mill, cap $190mill. What would the Dodgers look like if they had to cut $130 mill?

Astros took their lumps as determined by MLB.
It will never happen but if the cap was at $190 million for each team, that would be a little over $7 million per player average on a 26 man roster. These guys aren't going play 162 games a year plus playoffs for that chump change. When LeBron James and the NBA stars make $50+ million for playing around a hundred games including playoffs. Football can be competitive because they can manipulate the Cap numbers by restructuring contracts year end and year out to open up more money MLB and NBA can't or won't do that.
