Remove the FCS opponent and replace them with a 9th SEC game. Move the FCS game to the spring.Deion Sanders proposed the idea of teams practicing a couple of practices during the spring against someone else and then playing that team in some form for a spring game.
If that were to ever come true, who would you all like to see UT scrimmage? I would think many schools would stick to a FCS team.
I watched the Gary Parrish and (I think Matt Norlander) podcast, and they went on for ten minutes about it. They said they have never discussed comparing a team’s Quad 2 record. Then, the injury for WV occurred on December 6. WV had more Quad 1 wins after the injury than UNC had at all. They both knew UNC had probably gotten in when they were prepped for both Cunningham and the Vice Chair being available for each of their tv shows.I still cant get over Bubba and NC selection..heard him on tv last night defending it by saying they were 8-0 in quad 2 wins..how pathetic.
It's like the woman who complains she can't find a good man when all she dates are POSs"Here’s what ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler shared on the latest episode of The Dan Patrick Show about what he’s hearing on #CamWard & the #Titans
“From what I've gathered, Tennessee seems pretty comfortable with Cam Ward. Like there's some momentum there with other teams I've talked to league-wide that they feel like they're just going to sit there and take Ward. I know the interviews with Ward have gone well. They feel comfortable with the mistakes he’s made on the field. They feel like he's done a good job of explaining those mistakes & he can be coached and correct them, & he's got the obvious upside on top of that."
This is the EXACT SAME THING they said about drafting Will Levis!![]()
He's better than Levis, but that's a low bar. The one issue I see with Ward is he had A LOT of plays where he took a long time to find someone to throw the ball to. His highlights are full of these plays and folks like to point out how well he avoided pressure...but I think it's a possible red flag that he doesn't see the field well or is maybe a bit indecisive. He absolutely won't have that time in the pocket in the NFL."Here’s what ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler shared on the latest episode of The Dan Patrick Show about what he’s hearing on #CamWard & the #Titans

I fired him and would never rehire him after he took off the 2nd half of the bowl game and cost me $5.He's better than Levis, but that's a low bar. Cam Ward is a much better QB than Will Levis and the guy who drafted Levis was fahred."Here’s what ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler shared on the latest episode of The Dan Patrick Show about what he’s hearing on #CamWard & the #Titans

That's the only advantage he has over Levis... well... maybe decision making/risk taking so he turns it over less. Levis is probably more accurate with a stronger arm. Ward is a playmaker. He's better than Levis, but that's a low bar. The one issue I see with Ward is he had A LOT of plays where he took a long time to find someone to throw the ball to. I agree. I think much like Vince Young, Cam Ward will win you a few games by himself. Its just whether it'll be sustainable and whether it'll be enough big games.Cam Ward is a much better QB than Will Levis and the guy who drafted Levis was fahred.
It remains to be seen if he's a franchise QB but Titans need one and they've got the number one pick. Might as well shoot the shot.
