Is anyone thinking that Barnes retires after the season? Considering this being (most likely with the 5th year ruling coming later in the year) ZZ and Mashack's last year, Barnes age, and a couple of retirement rumors floating around, this might be it.

If any basketball team/program was due a Final 4 run, it's this team. And, for the first time in a long time, the bracket isn't an impossible hill to climb.

I think it would be amazing for UT to beat UK in the Sweet 16 and possibly exercise the Purdue demons in the elite 8 to get to this program's first Final 4.

Too low. They’re top 10 in both Kenpom and NET. 2nd highest scoring offense in the country, they had some bad losses but they did last year too and got a 5 seed. Really tough draw for Uga and Houston imo. They’ve also won 4 straight and beat a pretty good st Mary’s team. 9 straight SS appearances. Would not surprise me at all if they beat Houston in round of 32

What’s their chances against Houston in your opinion

Tough to say. It’ll all depend on if Gonzaga can score on them. If so I think Zags win a close one, Houston’s defense is eliteeeee though. Mark Few is also an amazing coach

I like picking great coaches at lower seeds. I’m gonna take UCONN over UF but it might her be overkill to take out 2 1 seeds in round 2 lol

The new tabletops down the RF line are neat but hard to see the batter thru the coaches. Would rather be off the field where I can see home plate better. Still neat to be around the players after the game. Finally can do some things in the spring now that mine has hung up the cleats. However, he said today had him missing it badly. Maybe he will change his mind. Still has all his eligibility left if he does.

I agree the officiating was awful, but they also called some on Florida that could be debated too. I don’t think the fix was in, we have to play at a top level to beat Florida in every aspect & we simply didn’t.

We didn’t hit enough 3s & we didn’t rebound well enough (especially our bigs).

Now the tight whistle, definitely played a part in some of that especially rebounding.

The game we beat them, we held them under 25% FG & 15% 3PT and out rebounded them, that didn’t happen today.

Not a “fix” imo, a tight whistle from an inconsistent SEC crew & it impacted both teams.
Dude...when you take away our ability to play tough physical defense...you mortally wound this team period.

It changes the way we do everything...for the worse.

When they let us play OUR defense...we win...when they take it away from us...we lose.

Like I said in the post you responded to, and I stick by it..when you take a teams greatest strength away, you take their ability to win.

For us..that is suffocating physical defense...everything we do is predicated on that.

Happy Monday

We have an insane side of the bracket. However, Wofford isn’t much better than some of the 16 seeds should be able to get our guys some rest hopefully.
