Too low. They’re top 10 in both Kenpom and NET. 2nd highest scoring offense in the country, they had some bad losses but they did last year too and got a 5 seed. Really tough draw for Uga and Houston imo. They’ve also won 4 straight and beat a pretty good st Mary’s team. 9 straight SS appearances. Would not surprise me at all if they beat Houston in round of 32
Tough to say. It’ll all depend on if Gonzaga can score on them. If so I think Zags win a close one, Houston’s defense is eliteeeee though. Mark Few is also an amazing coach
Dude...when you take away our ability to play tough physical defense...you mortally wound this team period.I agree the officiating was awful, but they also called some on Florida that could be debated too. I don’t think the fix was in, we have to play at a top level to beat Florida in every aspect & we simply didn’t.
We didn’t hit enough 3s & we didn’t rebound well enough (especially our bigs).
Now the tight whistle, definitely played a part in some of that especially rebounding.
The game we beat them, we held them under 25% FG & 15% 3PT and out rebounded them, that didn’t happen today.
Not a “fix” imo, a tight whistle from an inconsistent SEC crew & it impacted both teams.
Thanks for the seizure. This thread has gone to the dogs.
