We were never going to win the rebounding game. A few steals and better shooting is what we needed this game. They left Mashack wide open all game to keep us from scoring 3s and tbh coaches should have told him to take some of those.

Eh. It wasn't as bad as you all are making it seem. Lots of bad calls, yes a few more our way, but not enough to make up for 15 fewer rebounds. We're tired, it's showing in our energy. Transition was super slow, lots of possessions where nobody is attacking the rebounds or blocking out.

SEC refs are always bad, but they weren't overtly favoring UF. It's amazing how some of you can watch our games and 100% of the time say the refs are overtly screwing us and not realize it's a lot more likely you're just biased.

A 2 seed is probably better for us anyway. Less pressure. It’s all about matchups and getting hot in the tournament. I hope we are in Duke or Houston’s bracket. I think Florida is the worst matchup for us in the tournament.

No the inside game was called bad. Some refs believe big guys can’t foul shorter bigs down low. We fouled down low but Florida fouled just as much and got away with it

There's no reason we should have 15 fewer rebounds.

You're absolutely right on Maishak. He's a liability on offense most of the time, and when teams dare him to shoot, it's tough to play 5v4 if he can't make them. And we needed our shooters to hit the wide open ones.

It’s not that they are screwing us but so bad with consistency and missing no contact fouls. Sankey literally said yesterday that the conference told teams that the NCAAT would be called tighter. So, they go opposite this game from all year and call 50+ fouls.

The conference tourney has been the opposite of tighter. They've let teams maul each other the whole time until today, and you're right, now they're calling an insane number of fouls.
