If remember right, last year didn't we lose our number 1 seed to North Carolina because we lost in the quarter finals of The SEC tournament and UNC made it to the finals of the ACC tournament? Conference tournaments only count if they can negatively effect us.

Last year wasn’t a good example. UNC was ahead of us in the top 16 reveal in February and never lost until their conference tournament finals. We lost to UK in the last regular season game too.

2022 was the best example. We went 2-1 against UK, had just as good of a resume, won the conference tournament, and they give us a 3 seed while UK gets a 2. It’s a human committee with bias just like the CFP committee. They are looking to maximize exposure, matchups, and help either ESPN or CBS with ratings.

I read sometime in April Russell should be full go. Then we may see Russell on the mound starting on Sundays. What an advantage to have a future possible 1st or 2nd round draft pick starting on Sundays. Don't believe any other team could claim that same scenario..
