They have mentioned a few times how KY's D has risen up 50 something points in KenPom, but they still play bad D for for large stretches of a game.
They have been able to get more stops, but they still will get lost and give up a lot of easy buckets.

Just have to know someone at full speed that you have running down the sideline isn't gonna just stop and pull up a 3, the sideline was a 3rd defender so #1's only job is to not give up baseline and get run by... And that's exactly what happened
