War in Ukraine

not sure what the first has to do with the price of tea in China. but if it makes a difference to you I have been less than 1000 miles from Russia a couple times. again not that that means anything to anyone but you jousting at windmills….
Zelenskiiy rudely interrupted the VP to clown-claim that no one could know about Ukraine unless he has been there on a visit. 😂 He was adamant. Therefore, you don’t know anything about Ukraine.

Actually they should have been fighting, they should have been fighting the people throwing them in vans and kidnapping them, imo. I would take out anyone trying to kidnap me. They should be exterminating the people that sold them out to start all this nonsense. 🤷‍♂️

The Ukrainians aren't going to be developing nuclear weapons chief.
you could say the same thing for the Russians, but somehow you never do.

This does nothing to stop Russians from killing Ukrainians. Many more ukrainians will be killed before, or even if, a successful defense is realized.
and I believe it will be less dead Ukrainians in a successful war rather than a bad peace. Even under civilian occupation the Russians have killed Ukrainians in their millions. There are some alive who have experienced that first hand, and probably most of them will remember the stories their parents told of those times.

no matter how much the Russian apologists want to act otherwise this war did not come out of a vacuum, and its certainly not a history that most Americans are going to relate to, if they actually knew it.

Yes, it is a stupid question. It's a straw man argument, red herring, whatever you want to call it. But one has nothing to do with the other. Looking from the outside, we should not be encouraging Ukraine to continue fighting, unless we are willing to put boots on the ground. The amount of weapons and money were pouring into that place is not going to change the outcome. Unless we give them nukes
what if they want to keep fighting?

Zelinsky is right.

Watching a war unfold for a few minutes each night on Fox News isn't the same as seeing it in person.

show me anytime I have cared what he said? or let me know when you are going to have him post in this thread so that I can avoid engaging with him.

and under this situation you don't know anymore than I do, so we are on equal footing.

Vance's own cousin, who unlike JD, has been to Ukraine's front lines, called him out for being a moron on the subject.

Praise the Lord! Pretty stoked that JD's cousin weighed in on this matter.

I fully understand what you're saying, but let's look at the conversational creep We've experienced. bearded posted a wish about a way to get Russians to stop killing Ukrainians. I think that's a noble wish. It's an ideal that I would love to see Come to fruition as well. My comment about that is Ukrainians cannot do anything to prevent Russia from doing that. They cannot control russia.
Only choices are to surrender, and hope for the best or flee and give up their country. The conversation was not about what's the best of all the bad options. Or which option results in fewer Ukrainians killed. The conversation was based on a wish of russians no longer killing ukrainians.

That lasted what about 18 hours.

I like what Trump has generally done for the last 7 weeks, but I still fail to see what he is trying to accomplish here. If you want to stop the war, just stop the war. If not, just get us out of the way and let them go at it until there is nothing left to fight over.

If its a Ukrainian/European problem, let them figure it out.

Glad Le Figaro was able to secure this hard hitting piece. So Nate is the Mary Trump of the family. Sounds as though Nate has been unemployed needing purpose, while JD was doing public service which would explain your first line. And family resentment with a younger cousin, by five years being the vice president.

Nate has been to Ukraine, and seen first hand what the Russians have done there. JD has watched Fox News while copulating with couches instead.

Which one's opinion on the subject should have more weight?

Seriously, Beard, are claiming that the CIA and American intelligence deliberately fed the VP with false information on Ukraine? Because Zelensky was using his non sequitur to reject Vance’s figures as false.

I don't know how you guys do it. I had to put him on ignore years ago and that is saying something as I never put Luther or LG on it . 😂

Where did Vance cite "the CIA and American intelligence" as the basis for his views on Ukraine? He literally said that he watched it on TV FFS.

I agree they can't control Russia, but thats true regardless of peace vs war, so its a bit of a moot point imo to worry about Ukrainian (war) deaths, if aren't going to worry about Ukrainian ("peace") deaths.

I also think the two options you presented are hardly the only choices Ukraine has. continuing to fight without the US support is still an option. No peace deal we force on them is going to work if they don't accept the terms.

and the two options presented ignore the negative consequences from either. I only pointed out the flaws in surrender, but fleeing presents equal danger, and probably even more unrest in Europe. at present you are talking about dumping 37 million more people into Europe. Rome was collapsed by much smaller forced migrations, and Europe is already struggling with the middle eastern migrants.

Based on those qualifications......... Are you serious?

One has the access to intelligence clearances to effectively determine every possible factor in the equation.

The other has seen and possibly participated in fighting on the front lines.

If you're going to objectively ask who would be best armed with knowledge on every aspect of that conflict it's JD Vance in a landslide..........
