Now that this game is over, let this be said.

I do not care whatsoever about the SEC Tournament next weekend. If you win it, you may as well have made a run to the Final 4 with as tough as the SEC is, and then the team has expended so much energy doing so.

I will not be upset if we are one and done again. Last year seemed to work out for the team, with the extra rest.

I’ll continue soaking in what we have left with this team. So much grit with a small 7-8 man rotation most nights.

This team definitely needs some rest. Bad! They look tired today. However, I would really like to see us beat Florida in the semifinals to solidify a one seed.

On March 8, 1971, Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali fought for the boxing heavyweight championship. Both fighters were undefeated at the time of the bout.

Frazier, who knocked Ali down with a left hook in the 15th round, won by unanimous decision.

For Ali, it was just his third fight following a 2 1/2 year absence from the sport after being stripped of his title for refusing induction into the service during the Vietnam war.

The bout, which was held at Madison Square Garden and dubbed the "Fight of the Century," was the first of three bouts between the two boxers.

Ali won the other two bouts two bouts ("Super Fight II" in 1974 and the "Thrilla in Manilla" in 1975).

Either win it or go one and out IMO. Possible (but unlikely) seeding implications aside, of course.

End of an era
I ain't gonna lie......Watching ZZ and Mashack walking off the court for the last time.....20250308_162235.gif

There's a history of VFL teammates that you can't hardly mention one without the other. Another tandem got added today

Ernie and Bernie
Lofton and JuJuan
Grant and Admiral
Zakai and Mashack

It's a special group of players we've had at UT. I can't wait to see who the next tandem will be.

Finish the job.

Shoot, I am crying listening to the senior day stuff after the game. JM and ZZ spoke to the crowd. 🥲
