I don't think he wants that...he was just answering the question. Realistically someone would have to pour 10k in there a month...forever...and the Russians will pour in 10k+1 a month. The chances of pushing the Russians out of there without some other significant factor is close to zero.

I've asked him several times if he wants boots on the ground. He refuses to answer. I've told him what would happen if US troops were deployed. He called me a coward. It's obvious that he wants US soldiers to shed blood for his cause.

I've been asking the remaining nuts what the Plan was for quite a few years now. I stated my position, instead of attacking the position with some type of logic it was name calling and the Russians used discarded washing machine parts to build their fighting planes. This conflict has been over for 2+ years, its just a matter of how it settles up i.e. how many die and the size of the parking lot.

Death Cult. Heck, I'm not even against a death cult (I mean its a way of going out I guess), I am against those that wish others to join and exclude themselves.

I think the problem is their position isn't sustainable any longer. They must have an infusion of troops to continue. They would have to come from somewhere other than Ukraine because Ukraine is spent or will be shortly.

The family friend I have over there is getting out in the coming week, as are a bunch of operators from US, UK and elsewhere. The writing is on the wall.

My wild guess is more like cover for what comes next, but its a guess i.e. sanctions on the Ukraine. ?? The U.S. has been basically all in on any way to cut Russia from the global financial system. How can put tariffs on something which can be imported? The only real cards the U.S. has is removal of sanctions, which is basically were the EU is.

I would say this is more a warning shot at the Ukraine.

there were a few shots fired in mid March 1939 when Germany and Hungary carved up the last bit of Czechoslovakia. very limited, but it did happen.

also the Munich agreement saw Poland and Hungary get some land too when the Germans grabbed the Sudetenland.
