Very nice information, Larry.

I think that you have the word *sued* instead of *used* on the main page when talking about the internet. I think that it might also be interesting to see how many career starts the kids have.

This is an awesome data set Larry!

You might do a little more with the conference and team link screens (team logos or stuff like that) and then you've got the makings of a nice .com site on college footballl recruiting.

I'm think maybe not making the whole list colored would be better Larry. Maybe just doing the year and the line for positions, hometown, and the other columns would make it easier to read. That's just me though. Keep up the great work. :rock:

Larry, can you sort the data into a matrix just including the players on our 2009 roster?

In looking through our projected starters, the talent level is very high. It would be interesting to see the star / position rank of our 2 deep.

I've got two different views of our roster, just haven't uploaded it yet. I'll do tonight and link it..

I think you are right because some look really bad.. I'll play with Big 10 because it jumps out as worst looking one.....

Great, thanks! What I'm expecting to see is that our starting line-up talent is close to top 10 in the nation... but that there is a real shortage on talent on the 2 deep and further down, particularly on the lines.

Most of this year's starters are off of the 2007 and 2005 classes which we all know were very highly regarded.

If they were to play up to "potential," we would field a very good team this year barring injuries, particularly on the lines.

you have to be careful with that analysis Jack. Aaron Douglas may likely start at OT. But Aaron was rated a 4 star tight end out of high school. that doesn't relate since he has never played offensive tackle until this past spring. Vlade was a 3 star defensive lineman.

Playing up to potential for a senior or junior is "what have they done college, not high school". By that time, their high school rating is no longer meaningful as far as potential IMO.

Point taken; and add that Rogan, Hardesty and Jones were "athlete/APBs" coming out of high school rather than their specific positions.

I guess my view is fairly simplistic, that we have the talent to be better than a 6-6 squad. Hoping anyway...

understand the hoping. we could be anywhere from 4 wins to 7-8 wins.... we need to see what other attrition happens before season both in Knoxville and with teams we play...
