What can I say, I like dongs. Long ones make me happy.

Now I know why you and @McDad have such a close relationship.

Obviously this is only my opinion, but do the democrats think their behavior last night appealed to any voters outside of their committed core democratic folks? They just lost the election by a fairly substantial margin. To become competitive in the midterms, they have to win favor with the swing voters. These swing voters recently sided with Trump so his policies had to of been more appealing to them as his personality is an acquired taste which I’ve yet to find very palatable. Instead of the Dems supporting issues that are highly popular such as secure borders, men banned from women’s sports, and cutting government waste / fraud they are simply wholesale opposing everything Trump does. I just don’t see how this strategy improves their future situation at the voting booths.Trump does give them a lot of ammo when it comes to typical societal norms of decency. Tonight is not a great example of that IMO and I would vote to be quieter than normal if I was them. They'll double down as they always do. The question they need to spend every day thinking about is how to win back 18-40 year old males of all ethnicities. And how to not sound so nagging and virtue signaling. Jmo.
They did notThe number of times this has been brought up tells me it was simply a cheap ploy from a performer. The dems played right into it but there was no reason to have it
And can we stop pretending either side gives a damn about the us troops? Kids were born during, fought and died in the same non stop wars. Doge cut off the VA suicide hotline.
This is all just theater to keep the people occupied while we're robbed blind. A magic show
Noted. And spread covered. Not even acknowledging the presence of the families of slain vistims of the folks they begged to have here was a really bad look. Not a single Dem face all night had a drop of human decency in the blood. I was especially fond of how tight a grip Nancy had on her umbrella handle. Glorious.A locale for posting predictions, real time comments, and post- SOU reaction.
I'll start and I believe both sides will take an approach which unfortunately fans tribalism rather than calms it.
I predict the Dems will attempt some stupid stunt that will fall flat and show them as even more disconnected from reality. There's a lot of low hanging fruit there for them, i.e. Trump hasn't done anything to cut prices and his tariffs will be inflationary, RFK being less than certain in his comments about Measles vaccine. But knowing the Dem leadership, they'll make it about immigration or the like, where Trump is already killing them.
Trump has an opportunity to calm concerns about how tazmanian devil the whole DOGE thing has been, to lay out a more deliberate path for government efficiency. He can do the same with tariffs, and make is seem less fickle. But he won't. He will speak to his base and alternatively brag on himself and blame Biden.
But that would have required them to be in possession of at least a modicum of class. Something that the democrat party lost about 20 years agoAs promised, I did not watch one second of the carnival show.
If they made the decision to attend, then they probably should have stood and clapped in those two instances.
