Samuel L Jackson would do a movie even if the script was written on a napkin.

Yeah they mention Knoxville in it when Bruce Willis is talking to the guy on the pay phone and says thats where they are heading

And the watch Bruce Willis' dad hid in his ass was from Knoxville.

Wouldn't you if you got paid high seven to low eight figures per film?

Its rumored he is asking $20MM for the next Iron Man.

I would yes. I am also not rich. If I had the money he had I don't think I would. If he takes on the role in Iron Man I believe it will be movie 582,697. :p

heheh! Point taken. I guess he is just trying to go from rich to generationally filthy rich beyond all reason and belief.

I can't really fault him for that.

David Keith was born and raised in knoxville too....I used to work with him and We partied like rock stars many many times before he became a big star....Good guy....For those who don't know who he is, He was one of the stars of Officer and a gentleman, Firestarter etc etc...I believe he is now directing...He is known to be on the UT sidelines from time to time.

Last I heard he's producing/staring in a bio on Keith Whitley.

He was also in an episode of Law and Order SVU as a detective. There's a point when Chris Meloni goes over to his house and there's a Tennessee football helmet sitting in the window.

He was also in the TV show The Class that only lasted a season. He was an ex NFL star and in his house they always showed a Vols helmet in the back in his trophy case. Good job DK!!

:good!:

I remember reading that David Keith went to great lengths to get some kind of reference to Tennessee in his appearances. I have heard that the laces on his tennies were orange when he was swinging from a rope in "An Officer and a Gentleman".

I believe Owen Wilson asks him if he caught the UT game in the movie 'Behind Enemy Lines' too

David Keith's best role was playing Elvis in Heartbreak Hotel, lol. He was on the sidelines a lot when I was in school there & tries to work in a UT reference in every film/show he is on. I've never met the man but I'd like to buy him a beer.

Dont forget Johnny Konxville either.

He is the funniest guy to be around. He filmed a movie in my hometown. He needed to swing a golf club in the movie and make it look like he was a professional, so I gave him golf lessons during the filming and got to hang with him and some of his friends. WOW! A NUT, but a nice guy!

Idk if Morgan is from Memphis, but he got in a bad wreck there and was at the Med (a big hospital there) a couple of months ago.

Sammy might have a house in Memphis. I know he went to a couple of Grizzlies games because I've seen him there with his own jersey. I think he was related to one of their players. Bobby Jackson maybe?

Wikipedia says Morgan was born in Memphis. He now lives in Charleston, MS and NYC.

IDK about the Bobby Jackson thing.

My top three favorite black actors:
1-S.L. Jackson
2-M. Freeman
3-Denzel Washington
