President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Agreed. But there more who have been not necessarily Putin supporters but have been anti our involvement in this, who have claimed that Ukraine has a degree of blame here etc
That's most likely where I fall. I support Ukraine's right to defend their sovereignty. I just don't want us to commit any money or troops to the war.

My hypothesis is that anyone who is a strong trump supporter and would give his first 2 months in office high marks, would also more than likely be someone who has changed their opinion of Zelensky v Putin.
Hard, if not impossible, to quantify; but just reading the responses to the Oval Office meeting provided enough anecdotal evidence for me to feel confident in the hypothesis.

Not.

What's up with MAGAnutz? Explain this...no, don't even try. Let's just call this proof there exists alternate realities and MAGA enjoys at least one of them.

I have no idea what plan would be agreeable to both sides.
If Russia disagrees with the terms, then I would be for reworking the terms. If there are no terms that would be acceptable to both sides, then I would be for continued support.
Thanks for proving my point. You are not alone. Everyone criticizing Trump's attempt to get Russia and Ukraine to the negotiating table have no alternative. It's easy to criticize and make nonsensical statements about Trump and Putin but without offering an alternative, it's empty platitudes.

I don’t understand how people who realistically see the only possible outcome of the Ukrainian War get automatically assumed to be Putin fans. The man is a fiend. But he has all of the resources and power of Russia behind him. And as Charles XII of Sweden, Napoleon, and Hitler all found out; you will not outlast Russia in a war they are determined to continue. Ukraine has fought a nuclear superpower to a standstill. They still have their country and most of their territory. They will not get a better deal by fighting on. Things can only go downhill from here.

I can only recall 2 posters who are/were pro Russia (Putin). Volgr and Ras.

Can you think of any others?
lol....bo back and read some of that thread. There were many poster who constantly blasted Volgr and Ras who are now far more forgiving of Putin and negative toward Zelensky/Ukraine.

It is obvious to me, but no biggie. Just an interesting observation.

If anyone wishes to choose to believe that people have not changed their opinions in the least, so be it.

If you choose to believe that opinions have changed, then the questions become: how much? whose? when? why?

Which posters do you think changed their position? I can't think of any.

Around here, anybody that didn't demonize Russia and blame them for everything was considered a Russian sympathizer/Putin apologist, until the Trump/Russia stuff started circa 2017. The red herring tune definitely changed

Uh, maybe give him until the first budget reconciliation bill before complaining about policy?
Why would I wait until the first budget reconciliation? That has nothing to do with the executive order which directs his departments to brief him and very clearly lacks anything resembling a plan. If this is truly the most transparent administration in history, I would have expected some status updates in the last 60 days..

You've made some sweeping claims. But have provided no evidence.

I wouldnt be surprised if you knee jerked yourself into a bad interpretation.

It's highly doubtful.
Here are a few questions:
Do you believe that any opinions have changed regarding Zelensky/Putin and the war in Ukraine?
What % of people do you BELIEVE have not changed their opinions at all?
What % of people do you BELIEVE have changed their opinions a little bit?
What % of people do you BELIEVE have changed their opinions a good bit?

Who do you BELIEVE has most likely changed their opinions the most? trump supporters or anti-trumpers?
Or do you BELIEVE they have changed their opinions pretty much exactly the same?

Feel free to view them all as rhetorical questions?
