LOL they didn’t wait 40 minutes before pouncing. Zelensky stepped out of line in the eyes of the Trump and Vance and they swiftly corrected him.

Don’t forget, the administration tried to get this fine behind the scenes. It was Zelensky and his team who wanted this public facing affair from the White House.

But why would Putin agree to a deal that doesn't give him what he wants? What leverage does any country have over Russia? If they aren't deploying their troops to Ukraine to fight, Putin has no incentive to end the war he started.

If Putin thinks Ukraine cannot win, why would he sign anything that doesn't give him exactly what he wants? He seems content to continue as is because he believes Ukraine cannot hold out as long as Russia even with European/US support.

its fairly easy for people who aren't shitbags to not be shitbags.

Let Europe send weapons to ukraine if they want. We can sell them those weapons. If they want to send troops and they get ****ed up it does not trigger article V.

Looking more and more likely that Trump will try to exit NATO. Of course, he lacks the authority without congress but that hasn't stopped him from trying to legislate via EO.

Will be a doozy if it happens though.
