Jefferey Epstein found dead in jail cell

My gut tells me most of this is just theater, and we'll never really know who did what and when.
The girls can tell if they want to. That’s the only first hand info there will ever be.

No law against being a customer of a guy.

Maybe some perps will have deathbed confessions. Maybe.

But this investigation has to be based on what the girls said.

Until they release new information, as you and a few others have said, it's shaping up to be a PR stunt.

"We wanted to release everything because we're the good guys. But it turns out, some low level (probably unnamed) bureaucrat/staffer destroyed everything because the bad guys were remiss............"
Nevermind each side has had ample opportunity.

I'd love to be proven wrong.
This was basically a modern day Geraldo and Al Capones Safe moment...except we all knew what was "in the safe" already.

What i don't understand is, are all these women still scared about speaking up? Or were paid a lot of money to stay quiet. I was listening to a podcast and this journalist was saying that Epstein worked for Maxwell, not Maxwell working for epstein. He said that Maxwell and her family were really wealthy then they basically the portfolio around Epstein and they supported him

Why is there is such an insatiable hunger on the MAGA right to believe that facts are not facts? It feels like the hope is that if they can show that anything the government has ever said was wrong, then they can use that to contend that other things they don't like, even if true, are also wrong.
The right in general is skeptical of government, at least those they don't support, supposed conservatives.

The left in general look to government to solve it's problems.

Sweeping generalization though it is.

I align more with the right in that respect. I just don't trust government......

Eh... The country is generally filled with fans of their teams. Liberals look to the gov't to solve the problems as they see them, in the ways they want, and hate the other team on principle. Neocons look to the gov't to solve the problems as they see them, in the ways they want, and hate the other team on principle.

Libertarians see the problems with human nature and the need for the protection of personal liberties, so they see the need for gov't, realize that it's filled with people, thus push for small government doing limited things with limited powers.

Anarchists see the dangers in human nature, see the government as giving power to that flawed human nature, so push for no government (thus no real protections from the human nature they otherwise fear in government).
