The federal tax code's for what our elected representatives make it to be. Like other government functions it can serve multiple purposes. Government should work for the good of the people. A progressive income tax schedule, if we must have income tax, is generally accepted as being for the good of the people.

It comes off, the way it reads, that is "alright" to beat women that are your wife. It isn't good to assault women whether they are your wife or not.

if Trump, or any politician, wants to go to a church for service, or wants to hold a prayer session, I don't have a problem with it. I do have a problem with a politician going into a church to give a political speech. I do have a problem with Politicians using prayer as a way to advance their image, as well as the "righteousness" of whatever they come up with.

Trump: we have determined that we are going to keep on supporting war, do nothing to minimize suffering, and ensure that American businesses can bribe their way into contracts. But we had a prayer session, some have said the best prayer session ever. they are saying everywhere that Trump knows Jesus! and I do!
