I was talking with a friend of mine about an older couple who lived two houses down from us when I was a kid. This would have been around 1968-69 so I was 10-11 years old. Anyway dad would have my brother and I go help them with odd jobs as he had been severely wounded in WW1

I actually agree with players in college doing their 4 years or 5 if it is and move on. It's hindering the development of younger players and one of the many reasons these young guys are portaling out every year.


I never agreed with the Pavia decision to start with and don't even get me started on these guys that are 25 and 26 still playing college football.

I dont mind what age they are if they started college late for some reason, like missionary work, family, under-developed or something like that. These guys that are 25 or 26 and got to college at 18 have got to go though.

I wish Bo had just played baseball. Generational talent IMO

He had a great set of tools. Top of the scale Speed & Power, with a plus Arm.

He had already put up back to back 25-25 seasons playing ~125 games. And had hit .275 in his last healthy season.

Had he concentrated on Baseball, you likely could have moved him to CF with his speed. And you’re looking at an above average defensive centerfielder capable of hitting .280 with 30-30 power-speed. Those guys are super rare.

There is potential that if we win out, we could elevate all the way to the 2 seed. Kudos to Auburn! That is an impressive conference record with how difficult this conference is this year.

Yeah Auburn is elite, has a deep bench, and is very veteran too. Tough combo to top. Doesn't hurt they have a good coach also.

Regarding age of college basketball teams thanks to NIL portal shuffles. It isn't just Auburn. We, Mississippi, and Bama are on that age list too. The difference is only Auburn has Broome. He should be POY imo. No one has a higher +/-.





The strictly one and done rosters like Calipari used to run are done IMO.

Has the NCAA gone after any other college baseball teams for portal activity? If so, who? Honest question; idk. But I notice this is the 2nd time in 2 years they have gone after Tony.

Atlanta Vol said the NCAA's intention in the Nico case was to rope in baseVols and basketVols and go for a lack of institutional control hit job. I didn't notice them doing that when they covered up and stalled for Michigan.
