College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

No but saying Mark Few is a piece of **** for committing a crime that happens EVERY DAY is judgemental. I never judge individuals only one individual can judge others and he doesn't have an account on VolNation...

Everyone has skeletons in their closet... EVERYONE..

I'm sure you are perfect as others are on here...
Why take such heavy-handed exception to DUI, then? Judgemental is judgemental no matter how you slice it. DUI, tax evasion, drug trafficking, murder...shouldn't matter if you judge no one, right?

I never said I was perfect but I also never said Mark Few was a piece of ****, either. It's just curious that you'd come so hard to defend him and his particular skeletons while seemingly allowing your silence on the other 4 coaches mentioned suggest that you fully support their judgement. Where is the support for them and their skeletons?

I'd also venture to guess you'd feel quite differently about DUI if you had a loved one taken by the selfish actions of one of those 1.5 million people. And anyone calling the decision to get behind the wheel of a car while under the influence selfish and dangerous isn't being judgemental. It's calling an ace an ace, and a spade a spade.

No one called Mark Few a POS either... just a "couldn't have happened to a better group of coaches" big reach to say that's throwing the level of shade at Mark you're claiming.

Still though Mark Few has coasted most of his career racking up wins in a top heavy conference only to repeatedly get bounced in the tournament.

Is he a good coach? absolutely. But Gonzaga being unranked because -this- season they actually scheduled some real competition in their OOC is indeed a welcome sight.
Few has been to two national title games in the last 7 tournaments and has made NINE Sweet Sixteens in a row. I’d say the proof is in the pudding.

BTW, 67 teams “get bounced” from the Tournament every year.

Who called Few a piece of ****? 😂 And even if someone had, and it was bc of his DUI, would that be less warranted than bagging on other coaches for acting immaturely in press conferences?

Poor Mark Few, fella has to drive himself around while intoxicated like the rest of us plebs even though he makes 2 million a year.

Lmao, there is always a defense force for everything.

#BREAKING: The IU Indy men’s basketball team’s bus caught fire earlier tonight near Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

The team says everyone evacuated and there were no injuries.

At least we only burn mattresses when we want a coach gone!

I couldn’t care less about this conversation.

But isn’t 0.12 quite high? At least in terms of operating a giant metal box at 50+ mph?

Some people drive better at 0.120 than at 0.00. It’s 2 or 3 beers. MADD and the government took it too far IMO. 0.10 used to be the cutoff before it was lowered to 0.08 in most places. It’s a revenue generator for governments.

Come on. You cannot be serious. Mark Few took a nothing program to essentially a blue blood - other than Dan Monson’s one tournament run to the elite 8. Few has always scheduled tough OOC opponents every year. And his tourney record is amazing. You’re a good dude. Please tell me you are joking.

This is some wild tin foil hat thought process saying some people drive better with beer and the government took it too far.

Laws are laws my man. Some states weed is legal, gambling is legal, other states it's illegal. If you break the law in a state something is illegal but legal in another it's not some conspiracy just differences in state laws. I was posting a photo about coaches who are busters and not ranked after being ranked in top 10.

@bleedingTNorange this was just posted by Clemson fan on Tiger net "I'm so proud of this team. Realistically we have a good shot at a #3 seed. I see Texas Tech and TAMU both losing a couple more games. Wisconsin and Mich State play each other. If we take care of the remaining schedule and do well in ACCT we would make a string case for a #3 seed. If we somehow win the tournament we would in consideration for a #2."

just so you know it isn't only my buddy with these delusions
0% chance they get a 2. 3 seems unlikely but not impossible by any means. 4 seems most likely, unless they drop more games of course.

Okay, wait, what? You cannot possibly be serious. You think there are stone cold sober people that are probably worse drivers than someone legally drunk? Come on.

Tech can’t hold onto the basketball. They’ll force a Houston turnover and then immediately give it right back. Too careless. They’ll push the pace on a fast break but Houston is far too good at defending that. Tech has found a bit more success trying to run offense in the half court. Feels like they’ve turned it over at least 3-4 times this half while trying to run the fast break and not taking care of the ball.

Just as many are killed by speeders. Speeders get citations.

Yes. SOME people are calmer after a couple of beverages and drive better.

It would actually be nice to see what’s happening on the floor but no, we gotta make sure we get a glimpse of Patrick Mahomes every 10 seconds

Are you arguing that you're in FAVOR of drinking and driving? Even a little bit of drinking? If you need a couple beers to driver better then you just shouldn't be driving at all. I can't believe this is an actual conversation.

Houston wins. That sucks. Not feeling great about our chances of getting a 1-seed. My personal opinion is the Committee will not have 19-1 Big 12 Champ Houston on the 2-seed line which is where this is trending. Pretty favorable schedule for Houston down the stretch.

Houston may get a 1-seed but it won’t be at our expense as long as we keep winning. We’re ahead of them. You have BVS.
