Gold spoonThere's nothing like catching reds. That's my addiction when it comes to fishing. I only get two weeks out of the year to go after them and I make the most of it. I only fish artificials and it's fun to find new lures that I know nobody else is using in that area...I halfway think my good fortune comes from presenting lures they never see. Topwater reds are a ton of fun too. Here's a beautiful red I landed the last time out.

We never properly appreciate them til they’re gone…and then we canonize them to the point they’re irreplaceable. Comfort is that AD White is the Dalai Lama of identifying coaching talent and will identify the eventual epic replacement. Clone him, Boyd and Plowman and I’ll die a happy Vols fan.Lmao if you don’t think Barnes is the best we’ve ever had in basketball, then you voluntarily are choosing ignorance. I guess it is bliss though. A specialty of yours!
Very true. I knew guys that complained non-stop about “Johnny Ball,” just to hear those same people proclaim, “Majors’ defense would have shut down Spurrier’s offense” over and over again a few years later. We never properly appreciate them til they’re gone…and then we canonize them to the point they’re irreplaceable.
Sadly I have learned over the years to appreciate the hell out of our good teams. Maybe that’s why I’m a positive Polly and hate to see constant bitching about a 22-5 teamWe never properly appreciate them til they’re gone…and then we canonize them to the point they’re irreplaceable. Comfort is that AD White is the Dalai Lama of identifying coaching talent and will identify the eventual epic replacement. Clone him, Boyd and Plowman and I’ll die a happy Vols fan.

If this is true........It's one of the coolest "stats" I've ever seen.............
My dad had 10’ aluminum John boat with a 10hp Sears engine, that thing purred like kitty. Great times, makes me really miss my dadI learned to water ski with a 10 foot aluminum boat powered by 10 HP Johnson motor. It was tough getting up the first time b it became easier as I got a little stronger. One Sunday afternoon, I skied from Mooresburg tn. to Morristown Tn. and back with any rest. Oh to have those days again.
That “Thunder and Lightning” team…..Gator Thiesen and Bobby Thigpen as well…..Clark didn't play AA ball. Went from Single A to Triple A and the majors. The Mississippi State squad Clark played on was loaded. They would've won CWS if not for Jeff Brantley getting nailed in the ankle by the line drive..
So. . . I think I've decided to go with long pipe headers to a full dual exhaust with a flowmaster or maybe angry housewife/blackwidow or a combo. It'll be cheaper than building the engine with a thumpr cam and still give a good sound. . . and a lot less headache trying to tune the ecu & efi for the cam, etc.
Redneck level : 8.25/10
I do like the sound of this one with a cam too:
Edit: Idk, I've talked myself back into a cam. . .
I got some spots near the coast in Mississippi that are great for reds, specks, and flounder. Now that deer season is over down here, I switch back to fishing. I got a couple spots that are great when they’re running.View attachment 724055
My guy in Titusville is David Roberson. Not sure if he's still able to guide. Grizzled, as the Marlboro man. A savant.
'You keepin' any fish.'
'Weellll, we dont want..:'
'Great, ill clean it.'
I call that a redneck slam. Red, speck, and flounder (in far right). Whatever its called, ir was fish tacos.
Mosquito Lagoon gets hit, hard. And often. Its a shame, used to be a great place.
You want a gator trout, that's your place.
