Tretiak and Myshkin. Both great players (Tretiak one of the best ever), but for some reason, they were garbage in that one game. “Miracle” is not far off.

Was in TTL with my Dad, I believe after Watergate. Became good friends.

In college, our class was filming Sr Class project at the Carnegie. Fred was having a Cigar, in old Cigar lounge. Walked up, and introduced myself. We chatted. He invited our whole class up to his suite, and ended up saying some lines in the project.

Very nice person, very genuine.

Great guy. They dont make em like that any longer. Last Republican that got my vote.
