That’s crap.

I have not seen a single stitch of evidence to back up these claims. Other than reddit posters saying 'Back in hagh skoo.'

Unless there is some legal stuff we didnt hear about...which, would be a bigger deal possibly if covered up. So far its 'he had anger issues.'

How many people in this World have anger issues? Not trying to dismiss, or protect someone because they play football.

I trust the NFL to take the claims seriously, and do due diligence in a professional manner. Truth is often somewhere in middle.

You never know someone's struggle, or pain at that time in their life. You never know how it will manifest. People mature at different rates. Is his behavior under control? And I dont mean hurting anyones feelings. Did he break a law or team rules? Did he break any social norms?

Not knowing the full story, hard to form an opinion. Ill just say this, I trust our coaches and DW immensely. At every turn from Randy, to Donde, to DW, to JH. They have shown character, charisma, and exemplified what leadership is, in the right way. And they've never taken a lap. If JPJ behaviour was that repugnant, he would be on a different team.

Lastly, sports to many, provides structure. Routines, exercise, and discipline can create and foster the necessary arena for maturing. Sprinkle in positive reinforcement through coaching, and peer relationships. People can change, for better, if they want too.

Personality wise, do you want an accountant in trenches with you? Or Maximus Meridius?

Brent and Austin said there's a reason why he never interviewed. That is strange.

Listen, i'm sure those rumors out there have some merit. But truth is usually somewhere in middle. Hope kid proves everyone wrong.

I remember ETSU beating Tennessee in basketball. Nearly beat GA Tech at TBA in the tourney

Took me a minute to find it.

Game was a lot closer than score indicated.
That’s awesome! I have a soft spot for all the East Tennessee schools. Memphis can be annexed out of the state, Nashville too.

Yes, morning coffee...we were ranked in top 15 at one point. Back then, we played in Mini Dome aka the buried Budweiser can.

Cars would be lined up to downtown.

Happy Thursday

February 20, 2025: In this time of change when you will have to make adjustments, you can rely on God's guidance and direction for your life and circumstances. Christ has not forsaken nor forgotten you. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, your very present help in times of trouble. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said: I will never leave you nor forsake you.

IMO the greatest threat to humans is population collapse. We are all one giant MLM scheme. The moment I don't have a base big enough to support me it starts to break down. China and a host of others headed toward this. That is one reason why AI makes me slightly less nervous than others. Yes it is still a threat, but something will have to listen to all the boomers talk about their days and make their oatmeal. Not enough actual kids to do it.

Healy has brought in an insane amount of fbs players to etsu, idk how good of a coach he is but he can recruit. Im almost tempted to say etsu will be our 2nd hardest non-conference game

.
That’s crap.

If some college players who had legit legal troubles (UGA in recent days) can still get drafted high, then so can Pearce. A team will likely take a chance on his talent and seek to get him any help he may need otherwise. The rest will be left up to him. Let's hope he maximizes his potential and opportunity and has a long, productive NFL career.

Cole Harrison….. there’s been around 2-3 VQ podcasts where they name drop him as someone who is surprising the staff.

Diamond in the rough

OR

Another example of a long list of players VQ hypes up early that never really does anything when it matters?

Beginning of the "Lincoln County (NM) War"

The unprovoked, sadistic murder of Englishman John Henry Tunstall on Feb. 18, 1878, was the event that kicked off the bloody Lincoln County War. Tunstall was killed while attempting to flee from a “posse” of at least two dozen men led by just deputized Jacob Mathews. The posse, little more than a lynch mob backed by Tunstall’s bitter business rivals Lawrence Murphy and James Dolan, included at least four notorious outlaw gunmen. Fleeing with Tunstall were Billy the Kid, Robert Widenmann, Richard Brewer and John Middleton. The men were driving a string of horses from Tunstall’s ranch on the Rio Feliz to Lincoln, as Tunstall wanted to save the animals from confiscation by the posse.

What followed has been adapted into countless movies and books about the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid.

The Killing of Sheriff Brady

On the morning of April 1, 1878, Billy the Kid and five of his fellow regulators were tipped off that Sheriff Brady and some of his deputies were walking down Lincon's main street to post a notice on the courthouse door. Billy and his men opened fire from behind a fence, killing Brady and one of his deputies, in retaliation for Tunstall's murder.

Wanted to share some news: I was informed today that the president of the university has approved my promotion to full professor, the highest rank. It takes effect this August. Basically it means I get more money and don't have to say 'yes' to any of the Dean's requests any more, so it's a win.
Congrats nerd!!!
