Beginning of the "Lincoln County (NM) War"
The unprovoked, sadistic murder of Englishman John Henry Tunstall on Feb. 18, 1878, was the event that kicked off the bloody Lincoln County War. Tunstall was killed while attempting to flee from a “posse” of at least two dozen men led by just deputized Jacob Mathews. The posse, little more than a lynch mob backed by Tunstall’s bitter business rivals Lawrence Murphy and James Dolan, included at least four notorious outlaw gunmen. Fleeing with Tunstall were Billy the Kid, Robert Widenmann, Richard Brewer and John Middleton. The men were driving a string of horses from Tunstall’s ranch on the Rio Feliz to Lincoln, as Tunstall wanted to save the animals from confiscation by the posse.
What followed has been adapted into countless movies and books about the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid.

You have to be trolling.I understand game of hockey. Actually I dont, nor will I ever care too. But, what wouldve been wrong with us coming out, and acting like we'd been there before?
Instead we came out, and acted like drunk teenagers trying to impress the skirts. It's tacky and embarrassing. If you think that behavior is cool, then, you may want to reevaluate priorities.
This team is handicapped on offense and their defense is sporadic. I didn't comment at all at KY because I knew and expected to get asses kicked at KY. Losing to a very average team at home in Vanderbilt is pathetic. An embarrassment. And we're getting blown out of our own gym.
Their articles can be summed up in 1 sentence, every time.Things I won't be reading: AtoZ Sports articles
Let me guess, reference of a tweet or statement someone said, not an actual interview by their staff, and no reasoning as to why the person said this just speculation and no substance. Basically, posting a screenshot of the original statement would be just as informative as the article.
What's amazing is that they criticize the most during the game when we're down but then shut up when we win the game. I just read a few words in their posts and then just skip the rest of the post.I say that our offense is erratic as heck, because it is the truth...but I also say I love this team and I love our coach.
That is the difference between the types of fans...where the criticism or concern is pointed, and where it comes from.
We have aton of jackasses that are toxic pieces of
, jackasses that continually denigrate our players and our coaches out of an asinine sense of entitlement and pure ugly toxic meanness.
I despise them.
Its so, so, so bad. They probably don't even write it. Ragan probably takes the statement, types into ChatGPT and tells it to write an article.Their articles can be summed up in 1 sentence, every time.
"Austin Price says Boo Carter is expected to be valuable on offense, starting in the spring."
They take 1 sentence and chop it up into about 3-4 paragraphs.
This is why I don't open the app during games unless we are blowing a team out or we've locked it up. And if we lose I try to steer clear. Especially football. What's amazing is that they criticize the most during the game when we're down but then shut up when we win the game. I'm about to the point that I want to delete my account and find something else. This used to be a great place to come to get good information regarding recruiting, but that ship has sailed.
It's mostly a pi$$ing contest in here these days.
I think A to Z is the rag that was almost single handedly destroyed by about 3 Caleb Calhoun articles,Its so, so, so bad. They probably don't even write it. Ragan probably takes the statement, types into ChatGPT and tells it to write an article.
Have pride in your work and quality of product then maybe you'd get hired by a legitimate company.
I think a lot of it comes down to emotional immaturity. Kinda like when a kid would get mad at losing on the playstation and throw the remote through the TV screen,This is why I don't open the app during games unless we are blowing a team out or we've locked it up. And if we lose I try to steer clear. Especially football.
Lot of mentally fragile sports fans. I swear they get more dopamine from their team losing, blowing up about it, and arguing with anons online about their overreaction and criticism.
Winning = dopamine folks. Fix yoselfs
