watching this video about Starmer making commitment of troops and analyst says the Euros need about 100-150K, times factor of 3 for rotations and support, so 400K+. The UK could maybe send 5K..and to think UK citizens woke up this morning with this announcement. Ouch.

They've made some headway in the right direct, albeit just a bit, with ridding their law enforcement of cartel influence. It also has helped that we're slowly legalizing marijuana. The demand for cocaine has been trending down for years too, but the fentanyl and heroin demand started trending up. That's got a lot to do with the propensity we had for prescribing oxycontin for years, again paved by members of Congress.

I'm not going to disagree with anything you've said here. One hand washes the other. However, about 1/5th of Mexico's jobs relate to drug trafficking. Non narcotic, effective pain killers are making major headway here in the U.S. I was given one after I injured my neck this last year. I didn't hurt, and there was a sedative effect, so I slept well. It was pretty great really, and I have been given Hydrocodone before and it basically had the exact same effect on me.

Now, the question is what do you do with the business of drug pushing. It's big money, and money rules in the black market, and that money has a lot of influence. If someone wants to wipe out the cartels violently, then I am fine with that. I have lost multiple friends to their poison. I don't care whether they live or die. Get rid of them by any means...but as I say this, where there's a will there's a way. There will still be many who choose to push the poison for an easy buck, even if it may mean their life.
