BREAKING: The Mexican Senate has approved the entry of United States Special Forces into Mexico starting this week. This comes as President Trump continues his immense pressure on the Mexican government to take out the cartels. The plan is for the Army's 7th Special Forces Group to train Mexican soldiers on conventional and non-conventional types of combat. I bet if Mexico fails, then the United States will take matters into its own hands.THE CARTELS ARE SCREWED!

Bad idea.

It was a rhetorical question and I don't care about your answer. You're trying to argue about one thing happening in the news right now when the conversation is about the broad idea expressed in the president's tweet. I would be trying to deflect from the tweet if I were on his ****, too.
Of course you don't care. What's "in the news right now" is leftist lawfare trying to block the president executing his constitutional powers. You want it be about an assumed authoritarianism over a quote that you can't quantify. That is, you and no one else hyperventilating can point to an authoritarian action - or even the intent - and can thus only project onto it what you want it to mean.

Objectively, you can't even say the quote is uniformly wrong but just wrong if Trump says it.

But you are "on his ****", and you invite his psychological impalement daily. Don't include me in your illness.

I'm hoping you lose that bet

what's going to go wrong?
I mentioned last week. MX gov't is infested with cartel. Cartel has a long history of having the various law enforcement and military divisions on their payroll at any given time. I don't see the guarantee that we're not actually going to be training unofficial cartel foot soldiers.

I'm not sure on that. I'm probably about as anti-war as they come and stuff on our border and some of the other things that have been pointed might need correction. If we go into Iran with 300,000 troops for some type of nation building and terrorist hunt, I would be a little more on your side. (we'll see)

Just don't pay or arm the people you're bombing and we're doing much better than the last 30 years.

We need to stay away from Iran. That would be Afghanistan 2.0 but worse.

They're going to train Mexican soldiers. We've done that before and they went and joined the cartels. It's just making them more dangerous and deadly.

there is this guy on youtube that supposedly is well connected down south, he seems to have his pulse on it, and he said that high profile cartel guy they captured other day may have the deets on which Mexican pols are taking cartel bribes..he seems to think the Trump admin has this info and the cartels have gone quiet for now and shut down open comms. We sent that RC-135 off Gulf of CA the other day.
