We'll see what sort of grade Nacho gets when they finish their Braves farm assessment. Decent chance he is still a 50 FV grade. Waldrep's value has tanked though.

It's incredible how much AA hates depth. Why not have him as the extra IF? For $1M and decent Arcia insurance???

The Braves backup IF options right now are a guy with a 53 wRC+ in 760 MLB PA's and a 24 year old Rule 5 pick that put up a 93 wRC+ in AA and AAA last year. But we gotta save that $1M!

Paul Dejong is pretty limited defensively and isn't even a good hitter. I am 100% fine not offering him a guaranteed contract.

However, Jose Iglesias would be a pretty perfect fit for this team and he is still available. Honestly, he would probably be an upgrade over Arcia. Brendan Rodgers would be a great signing as well.

Hell, I don't know why we don't just bring back Whitt Merrifield. Even if it's a just an invite to ST. He's world better than our other bench options.
