Don’t hold your breath.

The ability to quickly undo executive orders has been a known feature since at least 2016. If you can believe it, there were folks on here who cried big ole crocodile tears about Biden issuing something like 30 or 40 XO’s in his first 100 days, most of which were just undoing Trump policies. Congress is still just a big green room for cable news shows. If anything, it has gotten worse.

You could also point to his ability to dismantle the various government agencies as a catalyst for more specific legislation so the congresspersons can be accurate when they scream that it’s illegal. But Chevron getting overturned doesn’t seem to have done that, and Republican legislators seem like they’d probably be fine with him refusing to carry out laws that they voted for as long as he can convince their primary voters that it’s the way to go. So I’m not optimistic anything changes there.

The final and probably biggest problem is that you need some dem votes in the senate and they may be completely impotent as a group, but that’s mostly because doing everything by XO keeps them from having any leverage. Neither side don’t really has much incentive to work together because Trump is doing all the heavy lifting and his history is that he’s just as likely to cut them off at the knees if they try to negotiate something.

I really don't view Trump as either and it comes down to goring both oxen. I think the House will largely hold, while a handful of Senate RINOs will continue clutching their wing-tips.

Eventually my guess is those people in Europe are going to get butchered and/or butcher each other. They should have never listened to the good ole U.S.A. (your knowledge of even recent history is very poor)
