If the Federal bureaucracy was split politically, I would be more sympathetic to this. But over 90% of civil servants vote D. It is not unreasonable to expect that pushes discretionary money to close to 100% towards left leaning causes.

I do expect to find some complicity by the Rs. Wait until DoD gets the colonoscopy.

For the last 60+ years, "Trust us, Bro. There's absolutely no fraud or abuse going on" has been the standard by which we gauge fraud in our government. It is a totally different sentiment than "Holy s*It folks, you won't believe the fraud and abuse were uncovering". We will want to see receipts eventually, but we're hearing about the sort of rampant corruption, waste, and abuse that we've known existed for decades. Until this moment, it always just seemed impossible to untangle it all or to find a candidate willing to untangle it. I don't think Elon and Trump are perfect, but I don't think this is a charade or publicity stunt. They are working around the clock to deliver us what they promised. I'm fine with it.

What evidence do you want???? I have seen affidavits rejected by the left...documents denied, laptops, diaries....seems no amount of evidence will satisfy what you don't wanna believe....do you have security clearance to see the details of the things they are *****ing down...if you need TS clearance to view them, how can they prove them without the citizens having TS clearance l..

I'm not sure I believe that people will ask for or want receipts. Right now Elon can just say whatever he wants and people run with it, I doubt he departs from that approach anytime soon when it's working for him

No one is ashamed to be wrong anymore. They believe whatever fits their narrative, and when it is proven wrong, they just point out that others do it too.

I suspect people will want receipts.

You see, the shoe was on the other foot as the left was paying off media outlets to lie, fabricate, lie, fabricate, gaslight, lie and gaslight. Claims and debunks were thrown around like candy, and it's amazing how few on the left wanted proof. Just some headlines to run with. The left never cared about evidence until now. (Kind of like their only care about "lawfare" was the ability to use it against their political rivals, until now... Eek...)

A large part of society has been red pilled. I suspect their "give the benefit of the doubt" is running thin.

ETA: And if those red-pilled lean toward initial belief of the worst, it's probably the result of the above.

Trump is making things easier for his family. His daughter has major business deals in China. His son in law is tied up in Saudi Arabia. Trump Inc or whatever is still a thing, and you are fooling yourself if you don't think Trump still cares about seeing his name slapped on whatever gold plated deal they can come up with even if he personally doesn't see another dime. and theoretically in 4 years he is going to be back in the private arena and its certainly something he could use at that time.

kickbacks will always be thing as well. whatever favors he gets out of the deal.

The government doesn't send you an affidavit every time they do something, the government reports virtually everything they do as hearsay. They are briefing you on a continuous basis, but you are not mad they aren't doing all this.... you are mad because they are.

Do you have some type medical problem, like when you were a kid did someone like drop a crane on your head? You're posts went from just a 🔩 to mentality deranged to complete void of any type of reality.

I worked in the federal government, virtually nothing I ever did or was a part of was reported to the public.... and if it did get the public was in hearsay format.

What do you call a receipt, if they are a part of the government's normal business records that is the receipt. I'm not sure what people think this is, why are we even talking about this at this stage?

He is not overseeing government decisions, its just an audit more or less or facilitate better ways of utilizing technology. I doubt he has any other real power.

The only receipt that is going to matter is a smaller budget next year. Preferably a balanced budget.

If they don’t get there, then I would say it’s all a dog and pony show.

They are complaining because the 1.) unmasking of criminal behavior which they themselves have been supporting and 2.) they are really cutting these things which is what the loons were using to battle i.e. taxpayer funds.

They're not mad because of the lack of receipts, these people are dishonest at best.

Yeah. I am completely baffled by this "conflict of interest". I am not even sure what they are talking about, one guy the other day was like Elon has contracts with the government. I said, I highly doubt Elon has many if any contracts with the federal government other than his employment. These people are pure NPCs nothing of value can be gained from them. I said, even if the did, that isn't necessarily an issue.

The NPCs were giving a new gag but its just the stupid old gags that aren't working and a select few are going haywire because its not effective.
