College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

20-3 overall and 7-3 in the SEC is not fraudulent.

TN is the hottest team in the league right now in my opinion, you’d think they were pulling for Auburn to lose, no?
Not at all. I think you’re built for a good tourney run too. You have no weaknesses. Auburn has easily been the best team all year and you all flat out whipped them on their own court. And you didn’t even start well! Very impressive. Congrats!

7 games left still think 6 losses will be enough for a 1 seed. So 5-2 in this last stretch, LSU and South Carolina are the only 2 teams we simply can't lose to both could be Quad 3 losses.
Agreed. 7 losses might still be possible but we would need help.

Auburn is 12-2 against Quad 1
Alabama is 7-3 against Quad 1 (counting tonight as a win)
Tennessee is 8-4 against Quad 1
Florida is 5-3 against Quad 1
Duke is 5-3 against Quad 1
Houston is 3-4 against Quad 1
Purdue is 7-5 against Quad 1
Texas A&M is 8-5 against Quad 1

So really the only "fraud" flirting with top 5 imo is Houston... all the rest have strong resumes.

Aidoo looks a shell of his former UT self at Arkansas

Probably a guy who let's his emotions get the best of him which makes him susceptible to impulse decisions. You can see the 100 mile look in his eyes sometimes. His career was promising at UT now it's problematic.

Honestly I think he didn't realize how much Barnes' style of offense/defense helped hide his short comings.

It's clear to anyone watching that he is a finesse player with no explosiveness. He's best when he can play the midrange game in the 8 to 12 foot area. Either Aidoo or Awaka could've teamed with Okpara for a formidable duo in the post with either able to slide to the 4 when we go big. Phillips could play his natural position as a 4 as a backup. A healthy Estrella is probably one too many guys though.

Now Big Z is taking his minutes. By the end of the year he'll be smiling when he gets in as the 12th man.

I mean Aidoo was basically a guard who had a huge growth spurt...he never really embraced his size/length IMO.

On a team that helps in defense and has guards that constantly screen and use the pick and roll (like Tennessee) he would have some really impressive nights.

They top 10 now. They probably be ranked inside the top 10 come Monday. Not sure how much of a " sleeper" they are.
Unless people are holding that UCF and Oregon loss against them or something like that.😜
They’re a sleeper because casual fans like you don’t think they’re FF material. 😛

Of course Bama still hasn't hit the "meat" of their schedule

Their best SEC win at this point is at A&M.

Next Saturday starts the gauntlet...if they're a legit #1 team we'll know pretty damn soon

vs Auburn
at Missouri
vs Kentucky
vs Miss State
at Tennessee
vs Florida
at Auburn

Really hoping we see them lose 3 or 4 in that stretch.

If he was shorter then I'm not sure he's a major college prospect. He does not have the ability, dribbling skills, or shot of a guard.

He is exposed in the dribble drive offense.

Now I'm about to watch Arizona for the first time this year to see Awaka.

I think there is a reasonable chance that Auburn is still number one with a lot less votes than they got last week.
Alabama was making a statement ...till they laid down.
Looking forward to what the coaches think.
