Anyone else wondering why @Weezer was at the truck stop?

Here he is strutting around in the parking lot.

Tuscaloosa is so overrated............IMO

UF stadium is nice, but I gotta say, besides Neyland, I'd rather see a game in Oxford or Starkville. I like the atmospheres at those two schools. More intimate.........
Hmm our game in Starkville may be a good one to go to this year. As a Nashville area native...

If In-n-out is another overpriced, chain hamburger joint, then I'm not interested. Freddy's, 5 Guys, Culver's, Mooya, are all too expensive for what you get. Most of them are the exact same mashed down hamburger patty. The fries are about the only difference at these places.

We used to go to Steak and Shake a lot, when the boys were younger. We could take the boys and a few coupons and walk out of there for under $20. It's close to $20 at 5 Guys.....just for a cheese burger, fries, and a drink.

*I don't eat a lot of fast food but if I go through a drive thru for a hamburger, it's going to be Wendy's.
I think Freddy's is reasonable compared to the others.

I'll give them a try but I have low expectations. I kept hearing about the "goodness of Pal's" and I finally got to try it a couple of years ago. It's ok, nothing like I was expecting.

The 2020 shutdown ruined the Steak and Shake. The one closest to our house was always really good and full of customers. They never got back on track after the shutdown. That was one of my favorite "cheap" places to eat.

I'll tell you who really needs to get their hearts right...... Krystal. The morons running that company are about to put themselves out of business. 4 cheese Krystals, fries, and a drink for $11+ is ridiculous. Who do they think they are....... 5 Guys???
I've been using the McD app lately. They have buy one get one free HB for awhile.

Arby’s and Wendy’s. Love chikfila fries but sometimes they’re soggy. Same with five guys. McDonald’s are classic but they just aren’t good unless you get a fresh batch which I feel like I never do. Innout fries are mid af. Shake shack nothing special. There’s a reason burger king isn’t called Fry King. I must admit I haven’t had checkers fries but they look really good in this picture.

Fast food chains have gotten so bad these days. It's like they didn't want to raise prices too high, so they just let the food turn to shiz.

I rarely eat fast food, but I've tried Mcd's and Five Guys in the last 6 months and they've both taken huge steps back. Taco Bell sucks now too, but more because the prices are absurd.

Subway is about the only ff that's stayed reasonably consistent, except the quantities do seem to be decreasing or at least inconsistent.

We've gotten to the point to where we'd rather just cook, even if we're tired and just wanting some greasy food, because it's better and cheaper...and we do enjoy cooking with some music on in the background. Fast food just isn't what it used to be. Rarely even enjoyable or cheap, which was the point of it to begin with. No one ever expected it to be healthy, but tasty and affordable...of course.

Pals is definitely overrated. At least it's cheap though.
