Thanks for the concern , GT... My headache seems to have passed this morning. I've suffered from bad migraines and sinus headaches almost all my life. Bad genetics from the mom & pop I guess. And since I've had heart issues, I keep close watch of my bp's mildly high, 130's over mid 70's .. not bad for an old guy. I need to get more exercise and lay off the sweets.. lol
Gule, I once had a girlfriend in San Diego that "had extreme" migraines that left her weeping....I had to keep her in a dark rooms whenever they hit....The light was just too much for her to deal with.
I took her to my physician to help the poor girl with her pain....He prescribed some very strong medicine that could only be applied through a suppository...It would destroy the stomach lining if taken orally....They worked like a champ..
Try and limit your caffeine intake, that will help some....Not just coffee or tea, but many other things have high amounts of caffeine...Also, stress can trigger migraines too...
The next time you see your cardiologist, tell him of your occasional migraines and he will fix you up...
Not to gross anyone out but I have a suppository med that I can use as a last resort, It will put me to sleep for about 24 hours, since I am the primary caretaker for my mil I can’t be indisposed for that long normally, just have to suffer though,
