February 7, 1812 (Reelfoot Lake is formed)

From December 16, 1811 through March of 1812 there were over 2,000 earthquakes in the central Midwest, and between 6,000-10,000 earthquakes in the Bootheel of Missouri where New Madrid is located near the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.

In the known history of the world, no other earthquakes have lasted so long or produced so much evidence of damage as the New Madrid earthquakes. Three of the earthquakes are on the list of America's top earthquakes: the first one on December 16, 1811, a magnitude of 8.1 on the Richter scale; the second on January 23, 1812, at 7.8; and the third on February 7, 1812, at as much as 8.8 magnitude.
After the February 7 earthquake, boatmen reported that the Mississippi actually ran backwards for several hours. The force of the land upheaval 15 miles south of New Madrid created Reelfoot Lake, drowned the inhabitants of an Indian village; turned the river against itself to flow backwards; devastated thousands of acres of virgin forest; and created two temporary waterfalls in the Mississippi. Boatmen on flatboats actually survived this experience and lived to tell the tale.

Great message about Josh Allen

Sitting here crying like a baby, I didn’t understand why for a minute. Then it hit me, I’ve been bottling up my feelings for a couple of weeks.
I haven’t said anything on here because people have their own problems and don’t need me piling on.
Our 13yo grandson tried to commit suicide, praise the Lord he’s ok🙏🏻 We’ve had him stay with us a couple of days and he‘s now getting professional help but it took us all by surprise.
Please pray for our family and especially Levi🙏🏻

So making final fours and winning national titles only matter when it fits YOUR narrative? Got it.

*everybody make notes*

I mean come on...what did you expect Coach Kim is great, but she's not even really the best women's coach on campus yet.

Karen Weekly has more hardware than an Ace...just needs to get her Natty like Tony V

Prayers for you, your family, and your grandson.
God's got this............

Freddy's is legit.

In-n-Out is good...I prefer Five Guys. And here, I miss Smashburger.

Freddy's fries are 🗑

I'm a big time Five Guys supporter...and honestly their prices is the only downside IMO.

But Freddy's, especially if ya like smashburgers is pretty damn hard to beat. The fries with a fork and plenty of fry sauce are also great!

So far the only burger spot I've had where I felt like "overhyped" was Shake Shack. Still a good burger but for what they charge and what you get...

The best food is at "Hot Rod's 50's Diner" in Maryville (Alcoa)

Never feel like you are piling on brother.
One person's trials do not negate yours. Don't rank them.
