Recent events made me realize Tennessee basketball's issues this season can be blamed on Biden's DEI initiatives. Had to give up Knecht for Lanier.


(Disclaimer: I make this joke at risk of it being taken too politically and making too much light of recent serious events. Everyone, regardless of political flavor, should at least chuckle at that I'd think... I thought it was decently clever.)

Agreed with this @Devo182 ^ but I'm no expert. I'm also in the applying and interview stage because I just lost the job I accepted back in September to start in January because of the new administration.

Anyway, you ask what you think you and the position is worth. They'd be more inclined to keep an employee they've had for a while I'd think. And I'd think they'd want to avoid losing you and having to train TWO new people potentially. So even if they don't hire you, they may work with you on a decent raise to keep you.

We played #1 Auburn, on the road, insanely well and very well could have won. Same for UK.

That said, the line is maybe a tad curious. Tough to tell. Since our last match, they got past Arky by 8 on the road, lost to Mizzou at home, and could only scrape by USCjr on the road by 1. We'll see.

Hope we put them to bed and begin our rise towards the light. No more being Bane in the darkness. It's February. Time to go or get left behind.

It really depends on the competition. Are they just doing a cursory check in with you to see your interest and job fit? Are you the lone candidate? If so it will be casual. If they are bringing in other candidates (especially external) then you need to treat it like a real interview. I would rather be overdressed and over prepared than the alternative.

Always seems like we are firing on all cylinders early January. Lag late Jan through early Feb, kick it up again to end the month. Then SEC tourney is hit or miss for us. I expect to see us get back in gear soon.
