Natural ability and exceptional work ethic when combined is a great thing to have and from everything I've seen on Edward's, she has both in spades....Edward's is smooth as cream in her play. She is way ahead of Cardosa at this juncture of her career. Wharever makes her so good as a Freshman should be outlawed outside of the LVs.
Dak, she was a HS Academic AA and is in honors college at SC, extremely bright young lady as well as a great BB player. Both of her parents are highly educated professionals and raised her the right way, she is super well balanced.Natural ability and exceptional work ethic when combined is a great thing to have and from everything I've seen on Edward's, she has both in spades....
Some may know this, some may not, but she played three sports in HS and was All State first team in all three. She played soccer, basketball and volleyball. She won’t wear down from a college schedule her freshman season, she is used to the grind. On top of all that, she spent the summer with U19 team USA and was the tourney MVP where team USA won gold. Sarah Strong was also on that team, Joyce was the leading scorer.Natural ability and exceptional work ethic when combined is a great thing to have and from everything I've seen on Edward's, she has both in spades....
Bummer. She was always a challenge to contain.Damn I hate this. She's a redshirt senior so I don't think she has any eligibility left. I could see her as a journeyman player in the W though. Tough, tough break for Joni, just when they were finally starting to play well.

I understand Dawn had a talk with her about practicing too much. Some may know this, some may not, but she played three sports in HS and was All State first team in all three. She looks like she will do just fine in a pinch.
Very sad. I really like her and imagine this is devastating for her, Joni, and her teammates.Damn I hate this. She's a redshirt senior so I don't think she has any eligibility left. I could see her as a journeyman player in the W though. Tough, tough break for Joni, just when they were finally starting to play well.

I started to post this same thing. 2 pretty big SEC games indeed. I'll be watchingTwo big games tonight both at 7 pm, OK vs LSU and KY vs Ala.
Unnatural as it seems, we need to root for LSU and Bama. Top 3 spots are pretty locked w SC, TX, and LSU so what we really need is for OK and KY to take losses. Those two are the main roadblocks to the all important 4th place finish and early SEC bye. The bye is especially important for our team this year which depends so much on fresh legs.
Also Vandy at FLA tonight.
