I find that one a bit quizzical. Who is going to attack us with missiles ? Would have to be the Russians or the Chinese. Maybe one or two from N Korea.

But that being the case, are we really going to shoot down ballistic missiles in that context? We don't have a minor neighbor with glorified flares to throw at us.

Whole thing seems like it would be Star Wars 2.0. Seems like maybe some defense contractors made some big donations to Trump and this is the result.

I've never understood why our top military objective isn't to figure out how to stop ballistic missles. Then I remember our MIC makes money waging war. Pretty messed up
