We were talking about how fast Teslas are in a straight line. The fastest car in this test ...and the Road and Track performance car of the year beating out the McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, AMG etc etc is a mixed V12 and electric motor, 1002hp Lamborghini. The best Lamborghini ever made according to all these guys, that beat out the heavyweights head to head in this years contest. In a straight line it is 0-60 in 2.2 seconds. Quarter mile in 9.7 seconds. $740,000.

A 4 door sedan Tesla model S plaid can run the same 0-60 and beat it in a quarter mile. For maybe $81k brand new?Screenshot_20250116-224147_Google.jpg I will go check that price and come back. It will run with every single supercar in this test, and outrun most in a quarter mile. Which is insane. Electric cars are apples to oranges when it comes to speed. FWIW, most of the time I drive a 2 door civic coupe with a manual transmission and some tuning (but factory exhaust bc I am not 17 and dont want to sound like a weedeater) and I flog it all the time because its fun. I love gas engines, and manual transmissions. Its still amazing how quick electric cars are though...also, when i get this last kid thru college, if I am still here, I am gonna get something better to drive for myself for the 1st time in my life. Maybe a used Cayman for $50k? Not sure yet. Heres hoping I am still around 6 or 7 years from now to do that. I have paid for pretty nice vehicles for my wife to haul kids around in...but I have personally never had a brand new vehicle in my life. Nor have I ever bought myself a nice vehicle. Always driven a work truck or van from the company and usually had a little beater thats paid for with a million miles like my civic to drive when not at work. Hopefully one day I get a bigger toy to play with 😄

My dark mode BaseVols CWS jersey #24 arrived in the mail today just in time for baseball season. Looks excellent. Of course it's a knockoff. It's #24 to mark the year of our national championship, and since there was no #24 on the team, the "game worn" claim was preposterous. But it really looks and feels great. And I didn't buy it to frame or as an investment. I bought it to wear! Vols national championship braggart that I am -- and will be remain.🤣

Nah...Columbia is probably run by Dimwits so they will keep running deficits, kick the can down the road, sign 5* Edges from UGA in the portal for probably $500,000 a year...then he will leave next season when they tell him they don't have the $$$ to resign him etc. Continue to spend other people's money faster than they can take it in until it all collapses on Drinkwusses head. Much like Oklahoma, Misery should have stayed on the porch in the big12 instead of trying to run with the big dogs in the SEC. They have done much better so far than OK in football...but not in other sports and they will never climb into the elite echelon of football like Bama, UGA, LSU, UT and Texas. They just dont have what it takes in Columbia MO. Oklahoma went 5-7 on football right? And is 0-4 in SEC basketball. Both schools would do much better in the big12 and maybe make the playoffs.

Legitimately, yeah, best to avoid confrontation if you can...however, you likely wouldn't catch an assault charge for that because you don't know what his intentions are. Far as you know, he's off his **** and crawling up to bite you. Perfectly legitimate self-defense situation.
