Yep. I saw that first hand as a branch officer. In my opinion they shouldn't be assigned to infantry units at all, even in support positions. They are a distraction and lead to discipline problems, for the most part that's not of their doing but a fault of the men but it's still a fact.
The military and especially the combat arms branches are not their to promote diversity, social agendas or equity. They are there to break stuff and kill people.
You seem almost as apoplectic as Duckworth and Pocahontas. You can't say "_____" would never happen and then ignore that "_____" did happen.
Living in the past would be yearning for a time where America was "great" even though every single decade of our history has had some not so great time for many people.
So when are you going to reverse course and complain that more black soldiers were in the infantry in Vietnam? He could start with an 11th grade US History book.
We flat out neutered our fighting ability by refusing to let people fight because of their color.
And at every chance to prove their mettle...these groups did.
You have an uncanny ability to deflect. And the left accuses the right of wanting to live in the past. Hilarious.
Are you suggesting the war in Vietnam was lost due to black soldiers? I could complain that the Vietnam War was an LBJ pet project wholly mismanaged by Washington resulting in a waste of almost 60,000 American lives and hundreds of billions of dollars. So when are you going to reverse course and complain that more black soldiers were in the infantry in Vietnam?
You are such a hypocrite
You think Austin is...a DEI hire? Just say you don't think a black man can do the job.Infinitely more 'qualified' than what we had the last four years.
DEI is dead Chief. Get used to it.
Breathe. You think Austin is...a DEI hire? Just say you don't think a black man can do the job.

Unlike Hegseth....he actually has command experience. And, from what I know, isn't an adulterating alcoholic with a religious crusade fetish.
