Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Why some of you guys continue to feed, call out, or try to reason with trolls like "volinbama256" is beyond me. Listen to JacketVol and put him on ignore.
I now only have to see his nonsense when someone else quotes it which is annoying enough!
Once he stops getting attention he will go away,.......or get banned! 🧡🍊

I get that this is technically a foul. But it's so counter-intuitive to the football game. Warren was never getting that. It was a **** throw into multiple coverage. Zero reason PSU should be rewarded here.

Again, right call. But I hate it.
I don't know. Hard to tell from the angles, but he impeded his contact for at most a half second. No way was he going to be able to change directions in half a second to come back to a ball that was THAT underthrown. I think it might have been uncatchable, the guy had only just started trying to reverse his momentum and he had no hope of slowing all the way down and coming back to it in that short a time.

It wasn't egregious either way, close call, but the contact didn't make enough of a difference for me on replay. That ball was waaaayyy underthrown and a big goober like that had no hope of being agile enough to stop on a dime and quickly come back to it. And the contact was pretty minimal.

The fear of Florida baffles me.... Yes Lagway is coming back, but Napier is still the coach. He tries to be the smartest coach in the room and do things "by the chart"..... He's not that good.
Yet they took us to overtime at HOME the beginning of the year without Lagway and have gotten a ton of additional talent via the portal and recruiting since then. They are beginning to get their act together, which is scary, see wins against LSU, Ole Miss, and spanking Tulane in the bowl.

My opinion is that since you already own it, you should open it, try without someone else's tainted or pretentious opinion and see if you enjoy it.
Then circle back to see what people liked/didn't like about it (tasting notes, etc) to help in refining your own palette.

Bourbon is subjective. I HATE Weller but others love it. I LOVE Four Roses Small Batch Select while others are like it but are less enthused. Like what you like.

Enjoy the dram!!
Agree totally and I’m a Four Roses fan too!

With 58 seconds remaining in the 1981 NFC Championship game, Joe Montana found Dwight Clark in the back of the Candlestick Park end zone for the winning score in a 28-27 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. "The Catch" is remembered as the signature play in 49ers history. It sent the team to its first Super Bowl and transformed the franchise as San Francisco went on to win four Super Bowl titles in the 1980s.

TDOT workers earn that money. Was out and about yesterday and came across a TDOT crew working hard, 4 standing and watching and 1 working and 2 sitting in cab of the truck.😳😳

Ha!…you’ll be really shocked when you roll up on KUB then…shout out to all the linemen though…yall are the real bad asses

Everson Walls who had 11 interceptions as a undrafted rookie in 1981 was the guy covering Clark. Meanwhile Ed "too tall" Jones was close to sacking Montana on that play. I hate the 49ers with a passion. They have cost the Cowboys at least 2 more Lombardi Trophies..

The missing of wide open receivers is far more concerning than the drops and our oline isn’t going to magically fix itself
I don't think the missing of open receivers was as frequent as some think. I think the issue, for us, was the combination of all three things you mentioned. Either nobody got separation, there was separation and Nico overthrew or didn't see the open receiver, there was separation and Nico threw a perfect pass that was dropped, The OL didn't give Nico time to find a receiver, or everything worked together and the play was called back due to a penalty. As for the Oline "fixing itself", I would say the jury is out on that one, as we will have mostly new starters next season. I'm not willing to proclaim them trash without first seeing how they perform together(and who we end up with).
