It’s terrible technique to turn your hard when you’re trailing unless the receiver slows to catch an underthrown ball and even then it’s often too late hence so many penalties due to under thrown balls.

If you turn your head when trailing you’re gonna get burnt even worse with almost no change at catching up to make a tackle
