Thank you...
lol sorry guys.yes dear.
Great idea! Go for it!lol sorry guys.
But side note, why don’t we start crowdfunding on here strictly for the football program? VN has so many users and has easily been the best fan message board for so long. I think the rest of the fan base that’s not on here would notice and contribute too. Would just have to get their attention on Twitte somewhere.
It could happen, but you would need an enforcement team that would enforce that equally. Leads back to under the table payment.College Football ought to set a standard going rate per position for NIL.
If you play QB this is the most you can receive.
If you play WR this is the most you can receive.
And so on. Makes kids pick the schools not the biggest bidders. Never will happen though.
It’ll get a lot worse too.If true about Boo Carter this is what College Football is becoming. No loyalty to the University just caring about the name on the back.
Individuals can thank NIL and how great it is. Individuals worrying about Portal acquisitions when we can't even keep our own best players.
I am honestly surprised Boo stayed/survived this long. Given his off field history and lack of respect for authority him jumping for NIL money should not be a surprise. The only negative reflection on our program should be that CJH took him to begin with.I guess he wasnt worth paying, at least thats what the sunshine pumpers will say
NIL will still be there and will probably be more of the driver than any salary paid by the school.College Football ought to set a standard going rate per position for NIL.

I think there will be a salary cap for the team not by position. That's true in the NFL now and would stand up in court. It wouldn't make a difference though because NIL would still be a thing and would be a far bigger enticement than what the salary would be. It would do nothing to fix this problem. Maybe multi-year contracts with penalties would help with the year to year shopping around. This would get challenged in court faster than a UGA player driving down a neighborhood street.
